Deadcam is a first-person psychological horror game where you can see a reactive live-feed facecam of the very thing you must survive.
Sealed shut inside a rural, abandoned house for a paranormal hunting TV show.. Something becomes VERY wrong with your crew member Margo.
Her live headcam is still rolling.. and you can see the whole thing.
Run, hide, and escape the house in this first-person survival horror.
And remember: the raccoon knows everything.

This demo locked me in the best nightmare ever. The reactive head-cam mechanic with Margo had me hiding IRL. 😱 Made a full “too scared to move” video—my raccoon hype is real. Can’t wait for the full release!

The amount of footage I had to cut out of my hiding under the kitchen table quivering in fear was hilarious lol. I kept trying to hype myself up to leave but then she would CHANGE HER ROUTE AGAIN! This was terrifying! TERRIFIC job dev. Can't wait to see the full thing--this is such a cool idea.

This game was amazing, immediately one of the things that caught my eye was how fast she was. This is what I've been wanting in horror games where the monster chasing you isn't slow to the point of not being a threat. The face cam feature is really cool as well. Since its a demo I'm not worried about the bugs, imo it made the game more enjoyable. Practically made her dance with the closet safe room.

This game is terrifying! I did not wanna leave the basement or any of the hiding spots! I was so scared and running for my life that I couldn't read the tip that was shown to me. Think this game is a little too dark though and Margo's camera doesn't help me see where she is at all. I always had to guess if it was the right time to leave a closet. Also had no idea that you could use objects to distract her until I finished the demo. Just felt like I was really struggling to play the game correctly.

I was not good enough to beat it lmao. But I had an amazing time trying!
Now, apologies for the following paper. There are just too many great things about this game for me to not write about.
I really enjoyed your environments. Each room had so much detail and felt like actual people lived there.
The facerigging you did for Margo (she felt and moved like a real person, gave me chills!)
I also loved that you included little easter eggs around the map, such as firecrackers, the radio, the sinks, and how you could open every single drawer. (The first 3 didn't feel like they had an effect on Margo, but were still fun to play around with).
There were also so many hiding places, I especially liked the one with the little cockroach eating popcorn lol
In conclusion, I'm a huge fan and would love to see you continue this project and turn it into a full game!
